Music Together

I recently completed my Music Together Teacher Training in NYC and I’m thrilled to join the team of educators/advocates for this fantastic program. Music Together is a research-based and internationally recognized early childhood music program based on the philosophy that all children are inherently musical–they can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and participate with confidence in the music of our culture, provided that their early environment fosters such learning.

I found the training to be rigorous, informative, and inspiring. I’m particularly excited about Music Together’s immersive approach to teaching music, emphasis on engaging both adults and children, and adaptability to the each teachers’ musical strengths and creativity. I know that I will make a great Music Together teacher, able to draw from my experiences as an educator, musician/singer, and improviser. I am currently pursuing Music Together teaching opportunities in Los Angeles, CA, my new home in just over a month.
